Exercise 11.1. Put the adverbial modifier in the proper place and comment upon the rules.

RULE

1. 1. We slowly ascended a drive. (now) 2. 2. Helen heard Jack to the end. (patiently) 3. 3. He knew the principles of “pyramiding” and “kiting”. (instinctively) 4. 4. The new laundry men arrived. Exercise 11.2. Put the adverbial modifier in the proper place, give several variants if possible.
