1. The MEANING of the THEME. The study of inheritanceallows more deeply to understand the laws of originating of normal living process of cell and organisms, promotes introduction in practice of new methods of prophylactic, diagnostics and treatment of hereditary diseases of the human being.

2. PURPOSE of STUDY. General: To receive representation about laws of inheritance at monohybrid, dihybrid and polyhybrid cross, laws of G.Mendel, interactions of allelic genes, expression and penetrations of genes and pleiotropy.

3. The CONCRETE PURPOSES of STUDY:

3.1. To be able to explain the laws of inheritance at monohybrid, dihybrid and polyhybrid cross, laws of G.Mendel.

3.2. To be able to solve problems of monohybrid, dihybrid and polyhybrid cross.

Geneticsis study of the mechanisms of inheritance end cases of variation in living organisms.

Heredity is the property of living organisms to transmit of genes and character of individual development (ontogenesis) from one generation to another.

Variation is the characteristic of living organisms to change of genes and character of theirs manifestation. And it is property of living organisms to change their characteristics from one generation to another.
