Editor is a person who is in charge of determining the final content of a newspaper, magazine or multi-author book. This person also prepares written or recorded material for publication or broadcast.

Editors should have creative skills, good mental skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, a good precise set of methods, a good academic background. This person should be a natural leader, energetic, enthusiastic and determined, confident and outgoing.

A professor should conduct lectures and seminars in his/her field of study, perform advanced research in this field, train young academics (graduate students).

This job requires being patient and calm with students, being both a good listener and speaker, being a problem solver. This person should have presentational and creative skills.

The positive sides of this job are the following: it's a rewarding job, because a professor shares his knowledge with the students and changes their lives. It's also a meaningful job with a flexible schedule and long vacations.

However, there are the disadvantages of being a professor, because it's a kind of stressful job and the salary isn't high enough. Moreover, professors should write scientific articles all the time.
