Позначення неозначеної особи у реченнях, які відповідають неозначено-особовим реченням в українській мові One never knows what to say to that. Ніколи не знаєш, що на це сказати.
Замість згаданого раніше іменника, щоб уникнути його повтору I don't like this black suit. Give me a white one, please. — Мені не подобається цей чорний костюм. Дайте мені білий, будь ласка.

 

Ex. 1. Use the appropriate form of possessive pronouns:

1. This book is (I). There is (I) name on it.

2. We can do (we) shopping before lunch.

3. He put (he) hand in (she).

4. She folded the letter and replaced it in (it) envelope.

5. We all felt with you. (You) distress was (we).

6. We've got some books. I expect (you) are more interesting than (we).

7. I left my pen at home. Could you give me (you).

8. (I) brother is going to become a teacher of English.

9. Where is (he) note-book? (He) note-book is on the table and (she) is on the desk.
