Более эффективные, чем у других людей, восприятие реальности. Они видят действитетельность такой, какая она есть, а не такой, какой хотелось бы видеть. Принятие себя, других и природы. Самоактуализирующейся личности способны принимать себя и других такими, какие они есть, без излишней критичности и стресса.

Непосредственность, простота и естественность. Самоактуализирующиеся люди не пытаются производить эффект или впечатление и в любой ситуации остаются самими собой.

Центрированность на проблеме.

Маслоу обнаружил, что все самоактуализирующейся личности без исключения привержены какой-либо цели, призванию или любимой работе

Независимость и потребность в периодическом уединении.
