3.How would you characterize the temporal perspective of the story? Are there any flashbacks or foreshadowings?

4.The story is written in the form of a sketch in which a segment of a girl's life is described. What period does the plot cover? Is the presentation of events scenic or panoramic?

5.Does the story have an outcome(denoument) or is it open-ended? What interpretations of the ending of the story can you suggest?

1. Find details of the setting in the text. Where does the action take place? Does the setting encourage the reader to make any associations?

2. Characterize the time setting:

· time of day

3. Focus on the description of of the weather conditions. Circle the expressions that refer to the weather and its effect on the characters. What atmosphere is created?
