Ex. 1 Open the brackets using Present Simple My friend Mary has a horse. It is a beautiful animal with big eyes and a long tail. Its name is Black Beauty and it loves people. It does not bite or kick and it is always friendly. It eats apples and hay but it does not eat meat. Horses do not like meat. Mary usually rides her horse every day after school. She does not go into the town because there is too much traffic. There are not many cars in the country so she takes Black Beauty there. At night Black Beauty and the other horses sleep in the stable. It is not easy looking after a horse but Mary enjoys it.
