Read the following text; rewrite it using the nouns in brackets in singular or plural forms. Express your opinion whether woman should or should not work out of home. What are pros and cons the woman is facing when building up a career?
Working Mothers
Gone are the (day) when most women were (housewife) who stayed at home to raise their (child) and take care of their (husband). Nowadays the majority of them have joined the (workforce), trying to succeed both at home and at work. There are certainly more (opportunity) for (woman) who are determined to have successful careers. However, experts claim that pre-school children whose mothers work full-time are less likely to do well in school. In addition, there is an (increase) in later life. Children whose mothers work only part-time suffer the same harmful (effect), although not as dramatically. These (finding) suggest it may not be a good idea for mothers of so young (kid) to take up (job). On the other hand, some of them nave no (choice), because going back to work is an economic (necessity) for them. One possible (solution) could be for more (company) to hire part-time workers, so that mothers can successfully raise a family and have a career at the same time.
