Packing and MarkingDate: 2015-10-07; view: 490. Delivery Dates Delivery Dates 4.1. The Supplier shall adequately pack and protect the Goods against damage and deterioration and deliver them not earlier or later than the time or times specified in the Order at the delivery point or points specified in the Order as the Company directs. Time shall be of the essence. 4.2. The Supplier shall be responsible for any expenses incurred to deliver any incorrectly delivered Goods to the correct delivery point or return any items delivered in excess of the quantity specified in the Order. 4.4. The Company shall have no responsibility for packing materials or cases.
Example 3. The delivery of the goods under the present Contract shall be effected within 21 days of the receipt of the Buyers L/C by the Sellers. The Sellers have the right to effect advanced delivery of goods on the Buyers' consent. The date of the Bill of Lading is considered as delivery date.
Example 4.
5.1. The equipment is to be shipped in export packing corresponding to the nature of each particular type of equipment. 5.2. The packing is to secure the full safety of the goods from any kind of damage and corrosion during its transportation. 5.3. The goods are to be packed so as not to allow for their free movement inside the package when it changes its position. 5.4. The Sellers shall be responsible to the Buyers for any damage to the goods owing to the improper packing. 5.5. The cases in which the equipment is packed are to be marked on three sides — on two opposite sides and on the top of the case. 5.6. The marking shall be clearly made with indelible paint stating as follows: Container No. Trans No. Case No Net weight Gross weight Dimensions in cubic metres (length, width, height) 5.7. The packages for which special handling is required shall have marking: “Handle with care”, “Top”, “Do not turn over”. 5.8. The Sellers are responsible for additional transport and storage charges incurred due to the dispatch to a wrong address caused by improper or incorrect marking.
