  Ïîëîæèòåëüíàÿ Ñðàâíèòåëüíàÿ (Comparative) Ïðåâîñõîäíàÿ (Superlative)
I. ñëîâî ñîñòîèò èç îäíîãî ñëîãà   big near bigger (than) nearer (than)   Nick is older thanme. the biggest thenearest   He's the oldest in the group.
II. ñëîâî ñîñòîèò èç òð¸õ èëè áîëåå ñëîãîâ important moreimportant (than) My new camera is more expensive than the old one. the mostimportant It's the most expensivecamera.  
III. ñëîâî ñîñòîèò èç äâóõ ñëîãîâ è À) çàêàí÷èâàåòñÿ íà “y” B) çàêàí÷èâàåòñÿ íà äðóãóþ áóêâó     easy modern       easier(than) moremodern (than)     theeasiest the mostmodern
  IV. ÈÑÊËÞ×ÅÍÈß   good / well bad / badly many / much little far better(than) worse(than) more(than) less(than) farther (than) further(than) the best the worst the most the least the farthest the furthest

VI. åñëè ñðàâíèòåëüíóþ ñòåïåíü íóæíî óòî÷íèòü, òî óòî÷íåíèå ñòàâèòñÿ ïåðåä íåé,

è íåâàæíî, ïî êàêîé ìîäåëè îíà ñòðîèëàñü:

two years younger – íà äâà ãîäà ìëàäøå

three times more expensive– â òðè ðàçà äîðîæå

a little / a bit longer – íåìíîãî äëèííåå

much / a lot / far more important–ãîðàçäî âàæíåå

 

VII. êîíñòðóêöèÿ (not) as … as, not so … as:

À) asshort as … – òàêîé æå êîðîòêèé, êàê è …

not so / asinteresting as … – íå òàêîé èíòåðåñíûé, êàê …

Â) åñëè îòðèöàíèå íàäî óñèëèòü: notnearly asas …

notnearlyastalented as … - äàëåêî íå òàêîé òàëàíòëèâûé, êàê …

VIII. êîíñòðóêöèÿ the + ñðàâíèòåëüíàÿ ñòåïåíü, the + ñðàâíèòåëüíàÿ ñòåïåíü

ïîêàçûâàåò, ÷òî âòîðîå çàâèñèò îò ïåðâîãî: ÷åì …, òåì …
