Ex.94 Decide whether the sentences in each pair have the same meaning

Sometimes the model is used to say that something (often not nice) happened to someone.

He had all his money stolen. У него украли деньги.

He had his nose broken. Ему сломали нос.

We do not usually need to say who does the action, because this is usually understood from the context. We use by if we want to say who does the action.

He has his suits made by the most expensive tailor in town.
