The sky is clear, it is as clear as it should be in early spring. Such air you can breathe only in the countryside. It is March. The winter is still reigning but it is felt the spring coming in the air. Using the combination of blue and azure colours the artist managed to portray the spring coming which is invisibly felt in the air.

The nature is ready to wake up from its long winter sleep. This is a wonderful start of the day. In March the sun's rays are much more intense than in winter months. Flooded by the sun trees, animals, and people are rejoicing at the spring coming. The bright sun's rays are reflecting from the snow which is sparkling with all colours of rainbow. Children are especially glad. That is why the spring paints their faces with freckles.

The azure sky occupies the most part of the picture. It hasn't been heated yet but it will warm up by the midday. The picture arises the feeling of joy and reconciliation. The air is clean and limpid.
