System approach in management and its elements.

The systems approach to management is based on general system theory – the theory that says that to understand fully the operation of an entity, the entity must be viewed as a system. This requires understanding the interdependence of its parts.

The system approach lies in the fact that the managers may be easier to coordinate their specific work with the work of the organization as a whole, if they're smart system and its role in it. This is particularly essential for the Director-General, because a systematic approach to provoke him to maintain an appropriate balance between the needs of the individual divisions and the objectives of the organization. He forces him to think about the information flow passing through the system, but also focuses on the importance of communications. A systematic approach helps to set the preconditions for the adoption of inefficient decisions, it also provides the tools and techniques to improve planning and control.
