1. accurate(ly)** adj. (adv.) correct or true in every detail - точный

4. conveyv. to express a thought, feeling or idea so that it is understood by other people

You don't want to convey the impression that we're not interested.

5. coverv. to give a report or description of an event on television or radio, or in a newspaper

We will be covering the game live on Saturday afternoon.

6. daunt v. to make someone feel slightly frightened or worried about their ability to achieve something; = discourage – отпугивать, устрашать, приводить в уныние
She was not at all daunted by the size of the problem.

7. dispatch n. a newspaper report sent by someone in a foreign country, often communicating war news, or an official report, often on a military matter

In her latest dispatch our war correspondent reported an increase in fighting.

8. far and wide in a large area or in many different places, some of them a long way away

9. integrityn.the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change – прямота, честность

10. piece n. an article in a newspaper or magazine, or a part of a television or radio programme

14. traineeship a short period of time when someone gets trained for a specified job

15. wanglev. to get something by tricking someone or by persuading them in an indirect way – заполучить, хитростью добыть

16. witness** v. to see something happen, for example a crime or an accident
Several journalists witnessed the incident in which eight people were injured.
