My first job

Date: 2015-10-07; view: 447.

In the summer holidays I had a temporary job in an office. I wanted to get some work experience but there were so many rules.

I (1) … do anything very important. I (2) … sit at my desk and answer the telephone all day.The first few days were very boring.

I (3) … make lots of tea for everyone and do all the little jobs that no one else wanted to do, for example, photocopying. I (4) … touch a computer and I (5) … talk to the boss when I went to complain. I (6) … wear horrible smart clothes too and I (7) … wear trousers. I (8) … take thirty minutes for lunch when everybody else got forty-five minutes.

After about a week I (9) … do more and the job became more interesting. I (10) … learn a lot of new things quickly. It was hard as I (11) … remember how to do all the new things. In my last two weeks, I (12) … do some really interesting things. I'm going to work there next year and it will be fun - and hard work!
