Примітка: 1) Дієслова, які вживаються з The Subjective-with-the-Infinitive Construction в пасиві: a) to believe, to consider, to hold, to think, to assume, to suppose – “вважати”; б) to expect – “очікувати”, to estimate – “оцінювати”, to say – “говорити”, to report – “повідомляти”;

2) Дієслова, які вживаються з The Subjective-with-the-Infinitive Construction в активі: to seem/to appear – “здаватися”, to prove, to turn out, to happen – “з'ясувати”;

3) Висловлювання, які вживаються з The Subjective-with-the-Infinitive Construction: to be likely – “можливо”, to be sure/to be certain – “певно”. Зверніть увагу на переклад негативної форми цих конструкцій: They are likely to arrive tomorrow.– Вірогідно, вони приїздять завтра. Не is not likely to arrive tomorrow. He is unlikely to arrive tomorrow.– Маловірогідно, що він приїздитиме завтра.
