Tasks:

- Tell the purposes, tasks and principles of foodstuff in the foreign trade.

- What are the semi-finished products?

- Tell the short characteristics and economic trade of products of agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, fishery and sea products.

- Tell the short characteristics and economic trade of grain, vegetables and fruits, sugar, spices.

- Tell the short characteristics and economic trade of coffee, tea and cacao.

- Tell the short characteristics and economic trade of rubber, forest goods and textile fibers.

- Tell the characteristics of development of Food and agricultural organization (FAO).

Task 1. To study and draw schedules:

a) food policy and security in the Eurasia continent;

b) food policy and security in the America continent;

c) food policy and security in the Africa continent;

d) food policy and security in our republic.

Task 2. Draw the product regulations in a consumer goods basket in the developed, developing countries and countries with transitional economy.

5. Draw and table analysis: “Classifications of the food products and their application in Republic of Kazakhstan”

6. Do the presentation: «Classifications of the food products», «Sugar», «Coffee and tea», «Vegetables and fruits», «Cacao», «Rubber and textile».

Form of activity: Studying reports of lectures and additional literature; answers to questions for discussion; analysis case situation; discussion; solution of tasks; reports; work with the glossary and presentation.

Methodical recommendations:Preparation for performance of tasks should be begun with studying of recommended literature. The main goal of a subject is to learn to use various types of food and agricultural products, as grain, vegetables, fruits, sugar, coffee, tea, cacao, rubber and textile, and export and an import of the products, goods, to consider cases of collection of the customs duties, to be able to represent schemes of movement of the products and goods at various customs modes.
