Theme №8. International trade policy and WTO activities

Tasks:

Task 1. Paper discussion on the theme: «Modern contradictions and problems in international trade».

Task 2. Paper discussion on the theme: «Role of WTO in regulation of world trade».

Task 3. Paper discussion on the theme: «World experience of the entry of the countries in the WTO».

Form of activity: Studying reports of lectures and additional literature; analysis of situation; discussion; tasks.

Methodical recommendations:Preparation for performance of tasks should be began with studying of recommended literature. When studying this theme, it is important to study the economy of countries entering in WTO, as Russia, Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Czech Republic and others, their role, trade dynamics, economies structure and contents. It is necessary to show export and import, trade balance this countries and others.

Methodical recommendations:Preparation for performance of tasks should be began with studying of recommended literature. Studying this theme, it is important to understand that traditional and nonconventional services, to study structure of the world market of services, place of Republic of Kazakhstan in this market, and also what instruments of a trade policy should use for restriction of access of foreign producers of services on domestic market. Tell about EXPO in the world. Working, it is necessary to use statistic data and state program.
