Theme №14. Foreign trade of Kazakhstan and WTO

Tasks:

Task 1. Paper discussion on the theme: «Trading balance of Kazakhstan».

Task 2. Paper discussion on the theme: «Problems and tendencies of development of foreign trade of Kazakhstan».

Task 3. Paper discussion on the theme: «Introduction of Kazakhstan into the WTO: features, problems and prospects».

Form of activity: Studying reports of lectures and additional literature; analysis of situation; discussion; tasks.

Methodical recommendations:Preparation for performance of tasks should be begun with studying of recommended literature. When studying this theme, it is necessary to study the purposes, tasks and principles of a foreign trade policy of Republic of Kazakhstan, to be able to define commodity and geographical (continental) structure of foreign trade of Republic of Kazakhstan, to know competitive and noncompetitive advantages of foreign trade of Republic of Kazakhstan. Tell about EXPO in the world. Working, it is necessary to use statistic data and state program.

Studying this theme, it is important to understand problems (pluses and minuses) the accession of Republic of Kazakhstan to the Custom Union. You must study the history, purposes and principles of the Custom Union, procedures of the introduction and Custom Union membership. You must know prospects of the entry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Custom Union.
