A: Good morning, Mr. Forester.

B: Good morning, Brenda. How are you today?

A: I am a bit nervous, sir. This is my first day here.

B: Oh, I see, but don't worry. We need a secretary and you are the best. I'll ask Martin to show you to the office.

A: It's very kind of you, Mr. Forester.

B: Martin, this is Brenda, our new secretary, and this is Martin, Martin Bradford, my deputy.

C: Good morning, Brenda, nice to meet you.

A: Good morning, Mr. Bradford.

C: Oh, call me Martin, please.

B: Martin could you show Brenda to her place of work.

C: Yes, certainly, sir.

B: Welcome to the “Forester & Co”, Brenda. See you later.

C: Well, come in, Brenda, you'll work here. This is your table.

A: Oh, it's very convenient. I see the computer. But where is the printer?

C: The printer is near the fax machine and copy machine, next to the filing cabinet.

A: Oh, yes. I see now. Where can I find stationeries?

C: Pens, pencils, erasers, scissors and paper are in the table. But if you need something else, please, ask me. Do you like your office?

A: Yes, I do. It is very nice and comfortable, thank you, Martin. What should I start with?

C: If you are ready, you may start with those letters on your table. You should prepare them for dispatching.

A: Ok, I need addresses and stamps then.

C: The stamps are in your table. And for addresses, look through the note pad on your table, I think they are there. Then you should answer the telephone calls.

A: Ok, Martin, can I start?

C: Yes, please, Brenda. See you later.
