Link Verbs + Adjective

The following verbs are always used with adjectives: to look, to smell, to taste, to sound, to feel, to seem, to get.

She looks very happy. The dish smells awful.

The cake tastes delicious.

Your idea sounds appealing.

My fur coat feels nice.

It seems silly not to tell him the truth.

It gets cold in Moscow in winter.

 

BUT: to feel well - to talk about health:

Are you all right? - I'm afraid, I'm not feeling well.
