Work in pairs. Have Internet conversations similar to the one between Alan Middleton and Nina Kendle's secretary in UNIT 2, Ex.18. Make a dialogue about Internet: administrators/ servers/chatters/site visitors, etc. Use Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect Simple and connectives if possible.

Look at the text in Ex. 15. Make your own short story about computer breakage and tell it to your partner. Use The Past Simple Tense, The Past Continuous Tense and The Past Perfect Simple Tense.

Play a game. The first speaker makes a sentence. One part of the sentence is in The Past Simple Tense and the other is in The Past Continuous Tense or in The Past Perfect Simple Tense. The next player begins the sentence with the subordinate clause of the first speaker, finishes this sentence and makes a new one. And so on in a chainlike way. The example is given in UNIT 1 Ex. 16.
