Местоимения other, another

Other(ед.ч.) иothers(мн.ч.) могут употребляться самостоятельно и в сочетании с существительными в единственном и во множественном числе в значении «другой», «другие».

We often try to judge others by ourselves.

Another –употребляется только с существительными в единственном числе в значении «еще один».

Суффикс отрицательного значения –lessупотребляется для образования прилагательных со значением отсутствия качества или свойства, выраженного корневым словом – именем существительным и часто соответствует приставке русского языка без-.

end – конец; endless– бесконечный;

taste – вкус; tasteless – безвкусный.
