Scripture clearly shows us that not only are we able to sin but that we are naturally bent towards sinning from our birth.

Ps 51:3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. 5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

David is not saying that he was conceived by his mom acting sinfully. The context clearly shows that David is thinking of his own personal sins and his natural bent towards it.

Ephesians 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

This passage clearly shows that we are by very nature corrupt. This includes:

 _Breaking Rules and being sinners

 _Actively following the World's Way

 _Actively obeying the Devil as our leader

 _Being a son of disobedience

 _Carrying out the sinful desires of our flesh, body and minds

 _Children growing under the wrath of God

 _JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

We are corrupt in every part and it is our natural condition.
