Experiment 1

After mixing deep yellow iron solution with light yellow iodide solution, reddish brown solution formed. After adding starch, colour of the solution turned to deep black blue.

Experiment 2

After mixing almost colourless NaOCl solution with light yellow FeSO4 solution, brown coloured solution formed. pH of the solution was basic; in the test for Fe3+ with use of ammonium thiocyanate, result was positive – bubbles on the top of the solution could be seen.

Experiment 3

After mixing almost colourless NaOCl solution with colourless KBr solution, colourless solution was formed. pH of the solution was basic. After adding few drops of H2SO4, colour became light yellow and pH was approximately 7. When kerosene was added, it went to the top of the solution and gained light yellow colour.

Experiment 6

After mixing almost colourless NaOCl solution with colourless KI solution, light yellow solution was formed. When starch was added, the colour of the solution turned to dark blue.

Experiment 7

After mixing NaOCl with H2O2, a lot of bubbles produced in the test tube. After, glowing splint was held inside of the test tube and flashes produced on the splint.

Experiment 8

After mixing colourless solutions of KI and H2SO4, colour of the formed solution did not change. But after putting H2O2 to the test tube, colour changed to reddish brown, then it precipitated and colour vanished. And after mixing the solution with kerosene, kerosene gained red colour.

Experiment 9

After adding hydrogen peroxide to manganase, oxygen gas evaporated and water remained.
