BOBBY stands in front of Houston's famous Water Wall at dusk. He scopes out a commercial building across the street. It houses their next score -- a vault containing thirty million. He checks his watch and radios into the crew. It's time to move into position. JOE drives up in a city work truck towing a small air compressor. He parks the truck in front of the building and sets up hazard cones on the sidewalk. An overnight delivery truck parks on a side street. A sexy delivery girl climbs out; it's ANNIE in a skin-tight uniform and dark wig. She loads overnight packages onto a dolly. At the loading dock behind the building, TOM and JEFF unload a Xerox machine from an office supplies van. Inside the building, MARLEY walks the hall disguised as a maintenance man. He carries a tool box and stops at a door marked "Authorized Personnel Only." He punches a code into a keypad on the wall. The door opens and he sneaks into the server room. There are hundreds of cables hanging from sub-panels. He pulls a hi-tech lap top out of the tool box and clamps a small transmitter onto a cable that transmits video signals to the surveillance monitors in the lobby. He plugs a connector into his laptop and a surveillance feed of the building running on a loop appears on screen. He is in position to switch out the real time surveillance feed on the security monitors with the looped version. He just needs a distraction. In the building lobby, Annie enters pushing the dolly with overnight packages. Two SECURITY GUARDS at the front desk can't help but turn away from the surveillance monitors to check her out. She "accidentally" trips and spills the packages onto the lobby floor. The guards leave the desk to help Annie. A blip appears on the security monitors. Unbeknownst to the guards, Marley has switched out their surveillance feed with his loop. Marley can now monitor all activity in the building. He radios in to the crew -- the building is now clear for entry. Bobby comes around to a door on the side building and swipes an access card through an electronic reader. He hauls up the stairs and exits the stairwell on the third floor. He unlocks and enters a suite; the vault is directly below on the second floor. Bobby pulls a set of blue prints out of his briefcase and begins preparations to drill through the floor and into the vault. Annie wraps up her performance in the lobby and heads up to the suite. Tom and Jeff overpower a GUARD at the loading dock desk and head up to the suite in a service elevator. Joe prepares to run a jackhammer on the sidewalk. In Los Angeles, Hope sits in her van running surveillance on a parking lot across the street. She watches as Bobby's accountant, DON GARDNER exits his office building for the day and drives out of the parking lot. Hope promptly drives across the street and goes into Gardner's building, where she sneaks past a SECRETARY into Gardner's office. Hope eyes Gardner's filing cabinets, but is forced to lie about looking for a bathroom key when the secretary surprises her from behind in the hall. Across town Macy's orphaned son, three-year-old RYAN is dropped off at a park by Charlie's henchman QUINN. Ryan plays in a sandbox as Quinn drives away. Back in Houston, dusk has turned to night and the crew has assembled in the suite. They lay out an arsenal of drilling tools that were hidden inside the Xerox machine and overnight packages. Jeff and Tom mark and measure the drilling spot. Bobby gives them a deadline -- they have two hours to drill through the sub floor and burn into the vault that is on a time release mechanism. Marley can only disengage the alarm when the code rolls over. Marley continues to man surveillance and lets the crew know the building is empty -- they can begin drilling. Outside, Joe fires up the jackhammer to the chagrin of the guards in the lobby. Bobby drills into the floor, the buzz of his drill drowned out by the pounding of the jackhammer outside. At the F.B.I. field offices in Los Angeles, AGENT DODD briefs VALEZ and the newly appointed SMITH TASK FORCE on the status of the case. They know Annie was at the museum job and they have a picture of her with Jeff at the Reno job. They have a mug shot of Jeff from the night he was arrested and a picture from the jail of Tom bailing Jeff out. In addition to being linked to the robberies, Jeff is wanted for the murder of Kala Tafatufua, who was found dead on Zuma Beach. The F.B.I. is out to Google and Yahoo, looking for any internet searches ran in the L.A. area with the key word "Tafatafua." If they can get an IP address on the computer, they can get a geographic location for it -- and hopefully find the mastermind calling the shots. Across town, Hope stealthily breaks into Gardner's office, goes through his filing cabinets and pulls Bobby's file. She discovers a list of off shore accounts and a list of utility bills for Bobby's second secret apartment. She writes down the address, and we later find her standing outside of the apartment, staring up at it in the dark. Back in Houston, Bobby drips with sweat as he finishes drilling the core holes into the floor. Jeff fires up a saw and cuts through the concrete, but his work is interrupted by a guard making the rounds on the third floor. Once the guard passes, Tom finishes off the sub floor with a steel cutting jig saw. The crew uses pry bars to lift the 12 x 12 piece of concrete out of the floor. Outside, Joe shuts off the jackhammer and drives away in the work truck. Marley disengages the vault's alarms with his computer and Tom burns through the vault with a thermal lance. They set up a tri-pod and lower Annie into the vault, where she's surrounded by thirty million in cash. The F.B.I. get an IP address for a computer belonging to Jeff's Dad. Dodd and Valez head out to Bel Air to seize the computer. Ryan has been picked up by a POLICE OFFICER at the park, who tries to get information out of him, but Ryan isn't talking. The crew loads duffle bags stuffed with cash into the Xerox machine and clean up the suite making sure no tool is left behind. It's time to split and they'll meet up again at the ferry. Marley leaves the loop running and departs the server room. Annie and Bobby go down the service elevator together and go their separate ways. Joe, now in a sleek getaway car picks Bobby up at the curb. Tom and Jeff get off the service elevator with the Xerox and discover their van has been blocked into the alley by a moving truck. Inside the building, a guard making his rounds follows a trail of drywall dust from the Xerox wheels into the suite. As Tom and Jeff sit blocked in the alley, an alarm in the building goes off. The cops will be there any minute. Tom and Jeff bail out of the van with the duffle bags of money and walk through the streets of Houston. Tom tries to call Bobby, but the tall buildings in the city block the signal. Joe and Bobby sit in the car waiting in line for the ferry. A few cars behind are Marley on a motorcycle and Annie in a mini-cooper. No sign of Tom and Jeff. Bobby is getting anxious and calls Tom. No answer. As cars begin to drive onto the ferry, Bobby turns on the radio and hears the robbery has made the news. Bobby decides to pull out of the line of cars, Marley and Annie follow. Tom and Jeff are stopped on the street by a cop car. When the OFFICERS ask to see what's in their bags, a shootout ensues. Tom gets shot and Jeff drags him into a twenty-four hour convenience store and they barricade themselves in. They keep the STORE OWNERS as hostages to prevent the police from storming in. Tom is bleeding badly and tries to convince Jeff to leave -- there's still time to make get the money to Bobby, but Jeff won't abandon his best friend. Bobby, Joe, Annie and Marley regroup in an industrial port parking lot. On the radio they hear Tom and Jeff are barricaded in. Annie leaves, she's not sticking around for money that's not going to show up. Bobby instructs Marley to leave while he still can and Joe demonstrates his allegiance by staying. Bobby's phone rings -- its YVES, the Frenchman who contracted him for the vault job. Yves has been listening to the news and Bobby reveals he doesn't have the money. Yves makes a threatening promise to Bobby - he'll be in touch and the line goes dead. Dodd and Valez show Jeff and Tom's mug shots to Jeff's parents, BEN and TRACY, who reveal Tom and Jeff's real names. The names the FBI had were aliases and it's a huge break in the case. Countless police officers and the swat team now surround the storefront. Tom and Jeff let the hostages go, knowing it won't be long before they police force them out. Tom calls Bobby and says good bye. Jeff offers his hand to Tom, helping him to his feet. They remain in each other's grasp for a beat -- it's been fun. They load up their weapons and go out shooting, dying together at the hands of the massive firing squad. Back home, it's pre-dawn and Annie watches the news as two body bags are wheeled away from the scene of the shoot out. Exhausted, Bobby walks into his second apartment to find Hope sitting in the dark waiting for him. THE END
