Which of the sentences at the beginning of the story was such to you? 2.Arrange the facts of the story in the logical order. 3.How many people were under suspicion in the case of kidnapping? Whom did you suspect when you read the first half of the story and why? 4.Did the story told by Mr. Waverly sound true to you? Pick up the words from his narration when he described his emotional state and decide whether they were really the feelings of a father whose child had been kidnapped? 5.Imagine you are a police officer. You are interviewing Mrs. Waverly. What questions would you ask? 6.You are a young journalist of a local newspaper. Interview the Scotland Yard inspector about the case of kidnapping at Waverly Court, Surrey. Find out as much as you can about this case. First of all ask the inspector questions to which you know the answer, but you are not sure of it, then the questions to which you don't know the answer, for example: Little Johnnie was kidnapped, wasn't he?
