Your boss wants to introduce a dress code. She has asked you to write a short

report about the style of clothes employees usually wear to work. Use the

information below. Make sure you make it clear when you are giving your

opinion or stating a fact. Use the example in activity 5 to help you.

· The company's employees wear any type of clothes they like.

· Many well-known firms have certain dress-codes.

· Smart clothes impress the customers and promote the company's image.

· Smart clothing emphasized professionalism.

· Men should wear black or grey suit with a white or blue shirt, a formal neck-tie, black shoes and socks. No jeans are allowed.

· Women should wear a business style blue or grey costume, knee-long skirt, middle-high heels shoes, body color tights, minimum cosmetics and jewelry.
