The knowledge of clinical picture and diagnostics of caries of the temporary teeth at different age periods as well as performing differential diagnostics provides for establishing correct diagnosis, performing adequate treatment, preventing complications and preservation of the temporary teeth before their physiological substitution into the permanent.

Aims. To learn to diagnose early forms of caries in the temporary teeth in children.

Dental cariesis a pathological process which develops after tooth eruption and it is characterized by destruction of the hard tissues of the tooth with the subsequent formation of a defect - a carious cavity.
