Theme №15. Eurasian Economic Union

Methodical recommendations:Preparation for performance of tasks should be began with studying of recommended literature. Studying this theme, it is important to understand problems (pluses and minuses) the accession of Republic of Kazakhstan to the Custom Union. You must study the history, purposes and principles of the Custom Union, procedures of the introduction and Custom Union membership. You must know prospects of the entry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Custom Union.

Tasks:

1. Discussion of the questions;

2. Work with the glossary;

3. Questions for discussion:

- What is the international economic security and national security?

- Tell historical stages of development of foreign trade and its description.

- What is the commodity? Tell the geographical structure of foreign trade and how they changed over the last 50 years?

- Tell about current trends of development of foreign trade.

- Tell the types of International Job Specialization.

- Tell the industrial developed countries, countries with transitional economy, developing countries and new industrial countries.

- What are the internationalization and globalization and its characteristics?

4. Essay writing on the theme:“The role of the foreign trade in economy of state”

5. Creation of structural and logical schemes:

- The model structure of the foreign trade and policy;

- The structure of the foreign trade and policy of the world countries (or one country).

Methodical recommendations:Preparation for performance of tasks should be began with studying of recommended literature. To study concepts international economy, world economy, international trade and international economic policy, world market, state regulation of countries economy, to familiarize with the program of industrial and innovative development of Republic of Kazakhstan till 2015 and others international economic programs. The main goal of a subject – to acquire concepts of open economy and economic safety, structure and a current trend of development of foreign trade. For studying of a training material it is necessary to use statistical data, normative legal acts and state programs of Republic of Kazakhstan and world.

You should be accompanying by explanation of the content of categories (the law, a subject, object) and obligatory fixing of a material a type of concrete examples.
