labour relations –the behaviour of workers and management towards each other

salary –money that you receive as payment from the organization you work for, usually paid to you every month

wage –money that someone earns according to the number of hours, days, or weeks that they work, especially money that is paid each week

job security –when you are unlikely to lose your job

ingenious – showing cleverness at making or inventing things

vulnerable –week, not well protected; able to be easily attacked

burden –heavy duty or responsibility which is hard to bear

substitute –to put (something or someone) in place of another

challenging –needing the full use of your abilities and effort; difficult, but in an interesting way

mindless –not having, needing, or using the power of thinking

repetitive –containing parts that are said or done too many times

unskilled -not having training for a particular type of job

checkout –the place in a supermarket where you pay for the things you are buying

till –a machine used in shops, restaurants etc for calculating the amount you have to pay, and for storing the money

product line –a type of product that a company makes or sells often with several different sizes, models etc

stock –if a shop stocks a particular product, it keeps a supply of it to be sold

user-friendly –easy to use or operate

reliable –someone or something that is reliable can be trusted or depended on
