1.Compare and contrast the jobs.
1) Say what skills and qualifications are necessary for each job:
accountant, DJ, doctor, engineer, economist, farmer, interpreter, lawyer, marketing manager, secretary, shop-assistant, worker.
2) Say what personal qualities each job requires:
commitment, drive, expertise, flexibility, focus, imagination, independence, initiative, maturity, personality, resourcefulness, self-discipline.
3) Say what you think each job involves: working on your own/in a team; working indoors/outdoors; working under pressure; a lot of travel; lots of variety.
2.What do you think stands behind the following words?
A CV, a resume, an application form, a covering letter, an interview, an employer, a prospective employee, a reference, a referee, to shortlist candidates.
