D: Wow, what will you do in the desert?

H: Well, we'll probably go on a camel ride at dawn.

D: Sounds fun. Do you know what the weather will be like in April?

H: Quite sunny during the day, but it depends. It might be cold at night in the desert. What about you, what are you going to do?

D: No definite plans yet. We might go skiing in the Alps.

H: Have you booked anything yet?

D: No, not yet. I think I'll look on the internet tonight and see if there are any last minutes offers.

2. Daniel: Hi, Alex! Haven't seen you for ages. Where have you been?

Alex: Hi! I've just arrived. I went on a tour round Siberia.

D: Wow, sounds interesting. Where did you start?

A: In Yakutsk. We went to Yakutsk by plane, then we went by boat down the great Russian river Lena.

D: Did you stop anywhere?

A: Of course we did. In some places we went sightseeing by bus. But twice we traveled on foot. Neither bus nor car could go through those narrow paths.

D: How wonderful! And dangerous too, isn't it? Did you enjoy your tour?

A: Sure. It was so exciting! Siberia is a wonderful place. It's worth visiting.
