promotional tools –means of publicizing a product in order to sell it

generate –do something that will create or increase sales, income, profit etc

sales promotion –an activity such as special advertisements or free gifts intended to sell a product or service

public relations PR –the activity of telling the public about an organization, person, product etc so that people think of them in a good way

trial launch –an act of testing something new; an occasion at which a new product is shown or made available for sale or use for the first time

media blitz -a lot of activity in mass media designed to produce a particular result

brand awareness –the degree to which people know about a particular brand

marketing concept –an idea for a product, or related to the product, especially a new one; when a business concentrates on designing and selling products that satisfy customer needs in order to be profitable

publicity –the attention that someone or something gets from newspapers, television etc; the business activity of making sure that people know about a new product, film etc

advertising –telling people publicly about a product or service in order to persuade them to buy it

counter –to move or act in order to oppose or defend yourself against something

retailer –a business that sells goods to members of the public, rather than to shops; someone who owns or runs a shop selling goods to members of the public

sales force –the people in a company who sell the company's products

sparing –using or giving little

prospect –to examine something
