Объектный и субъектный причастные обороты

В тех случаях, когда нужно подчеркнуть не факт совершения действия, а то, что действие происходит или происходило в момент речи, в объектных и субъектных оборотах вместо инфинитива употребляется причастие.

We saw the temperature rise. - Мы видели, что температура поднялась.(ОИО)

We saw the temperature rising. - Мы видели, что температура поднимается. (ОПО)

He was heard to come upstairs and enter the room. – Слышали, как он поднялся наверх и вошел в комнату.

He was heard coming upstairs slowly. – Было слышно, как он поднимался наверх.

Подлежащее	Глагол* в Active v. в функции сказуемого	Существительное в общем падеже или местоимение в объектном падеже	Причастие	Остальные члены предложения

Глаголы*, выражающие:

1. Умственную активность – know, believe, consider, think, find, suppose, show, prove и др.

2. Желание, требование – want, wish, require, desire.

3. Чувственное восприятие – feel, hear, see, watch, observe.

XIII. Пользуясь схемой ОПО переведите следующие предложения на русский язык:

1. Everybody knows the Earth orbiting the Sun. 2. We observe the temperature rising and the alloy melting. 3. We could watch the spacecraft launched. 4. I don't want you focusing on such a problem and being upset about it. 5. He may hear us discussing the latest results of our investigations. 6. I couldn't suppose them developing a new model of the launch vehicle. 7. They required the machine tool being tested during some hours. 8. There are some reasons which require this technique being used for practical applications. 9. We know the latest investigations leading to improved performance, reliability and extended life cycle of the aircraft. 10. Die casting use supposes a fine surface quality and dimensional tolerance being achieved.
