What are the dangers for Britain due to its population? 2. What is British family today? Observe different types of contemporary British families: the nuclear family, cohabiting couples, single-parent families, foster families. Tell about the problem of high rate of divorces and non-marital babies. 3. Social class as one of fundamental matters of British society. What are the classes and their representatives today? Why are the English self-conscious about class? 4. Gender: describe women's position in contemporary British society. What are the problems to your mind? 5. Young people in Great Britain and problems of the youth. The difficulties with employment; smoking, alcohol abuse and drugs; bulling at schools and universities; pregnancy under age and young families. 6. Ethnic minorities: the target of discrimination and cheap working forces. 1. What do the words mean?
