M1: analyse the benefits of internet marketing to customers

Task 4.1

 

a) Refer to your completed tables to analyse the benefits of the websites to the customers of each business. Give full details about each one and explain the ways in which customers gain.

 

b) Comment on how internet-marketing activities are built on conventional marketing practices (the seven Ps) and how they are used differently.

 

M2(part 1) analyse the marketing opportunities and challenges faced by a selected business when using internet marketing within the marketing mix of a selected business.

Explain how the opportunities can affect the mix of tactics (the Seven Ps) that the business use and show awareness of challenges facing an online business.

 

Select one of the online businesses you have described and analysed in a previous task and discuss the following:

 

  • How effective do you think the business isin meeting customer needs?
  • Do customers get real benefits by being able to customise products?
  • Do customers get real benefits by being able to chat online about the products?

 

You must back up your views with evidence. Your evidence might show that the business is effective, is not effective or is effective in some areas but not others.
